An entry is published when it contains an identifiable fact, decision or technical corpse. Ideas that merely look interesting wait outside, where they obstruct nothing.
Domestic inventory: three hundred things against taxonomy
Junkyard began as a way to find one adapter without opening twelve boxes. Three hundred objects later it was arguing with cached photographs, mutating quantities and a taxonomy raised in captivity.
Nested containers: the box is inside the drawer
A shelf, a drawer and a box perform the same manoeuvre: they contain something. Creating a separate entity for every piece of furniture was an expensive way to pretend the relation did not repeat.
Stable codes: CT—027 has no opinion about its name
A box may be called cables, video or pending rubbish. The code stuck outside must survive those identity crises without demanding a new label from the printer.
Inventory by photograph: bureaucracy can wait
Demanding a name, category and registered address before taking a photograph was very orderly. It also ensured that the object went back into the box unrecorded.
Category, state and tag: ‘Quarantine’ is not an object
Electronics says what it is. Quarantine says what is happening to it. Sentimental explains why nobody throws it away. Putting all three in one selector was a small act of hostility.
Home network segmentation: seven borders and one indifferent packet
The VLANs looked excellent in the diagram. Then an administrative detail arrived: the firewall evaluates traffic where it enters, not where the draughtsman would prefer it to feel protected.
Technical documentation: Kepler was cured and nobody kept the prescription
Antares froze under load. Kepler had done something similar and had remained stable for months thanks to a setting remembered as ‘an Intel thing’. Excellent documentation.
Intermittent LTO failure: 261 GB against a magnificent diagnosis
SCD 2, DRIVE_VOLTAGE, transport errors and a failed SCSI write made an impeccable culprit. Then the drive worked for seventy minutes without complaint. Very inconsiderate.
Wi-Fi coverage: the access point advances two metres towards science
Coverage looked guilty, but ‘it seems better now’ does not survive a pub-grade audit. A box was moved, the time was written down and the least heroic wait in the scientific method began.
Nebula Photosynthesis: the leaf was too quiet to contain a factory
Nebula · Photosynthesis v0.10.0 links leaf, chloroplast and thylakoid through a continuous scale transition, and corrects PQ-9 and chlorophyll a with explicit chemical topology.
Orientation in Nebula: enter, diverge and return without building a minimap
A spatial interface fails when its visitor cannot tell where they are, why they arrived or how to undo the journey. Nebula treats those three questions as part of the content.

The prototype already knows how to impress. Search, understanding, return, scale, performance and access now have to prove that the experiment teaches more than its fog suggests.
Wet-bulb temperature: when sweating stops working
The thermometer reports heat. The body needs to know whether water can leave the skin. Those are different questions, even if the forecast prefers one number.
How far can a human thought travel?
A decision feels immediate, yet the signals that make it possible travel down axons, cross synapses and accumulate milliseconds. The body keeps accounts even when consciousness declines the receipt.
